About Sandy
From hospital counsel to patient advocate.
Sandy began her health law career as an attorney with Coventry Health Care, an Aetna company, and then spent six years as Senior Director of Legal Services for the Seton Healthcare Family in Austin, now part of Ascension.
In 2014 she founded BayneLaw, an Austin practice focused on health care law, health insurance disputes and civil litigation, where she regularly represents patients and physicians against insurers that deny reimbursement for medical care. She has worked on both sides of the medical malpractice docket, and she joined LOAR as Of Counsel in 2023.
Sandy is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Farsi.
