Led by founder Amber Russell — backed by a full trial team
LOAR pairs a founder with deep trial credentials with partners, senior attorneys, and of-counsel lawyers — so your case is backed by a team, not a single attorney.
LOAR PLLC founder Amber Russell graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s in Psychology before graduating with distinguished honor to the Order of the Coif — in the top 10% of her class — from the University of Texas School of Law. She began her career at the international firm Baker Botts and has spent decades honing her craft.
Amber has been recognized for excellence by Thomson Reuters (Super Lawyer and Rising Star, 2013–2023), Martindale-Hubbell, Austin Monthly (Top Attorney), and the Travis County Women Lawyers Association. She serves on the boards of mentoring associations in Austin and Dallas, supporting other women attorneys. She and her husband also serve on the board of the nonprofit they launched, SOAR, providing $100,000 in annual scholarships to help open doors for ‘first females.’
Amber has helped thousands of clients who have been seriously injured, including victims of trucking and auto crashes. Having worked on both sides — first as a defense attorney and now as a plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer — she sees issues from all angles and navigates challenges to bring cases to resolution. She is known for client advocacy and for handling complex matters involving catastrophic injury, bringing current technology to scene inspections, forensic examinations of mobile devices and other electronic data, and a team built to handle the most complex 18-wheeler cases.
LOAR PLLC was founded to reinvent the personal injury business. The firm is focused on long-term goals that balance client success, community impact, and a positive, growth-oriented work environment.
Answers before you submit
How much does a consultation cost?
Consultations are free. We work on a contingency fee, which means you pay nothing unless we recover compensation for your case.
How quickly will someone respond?
We review submissions during business hours and often respond the same hour during business hours. For urgent matters, calling (888) 288-6503 is fastest.
What if I don’t have police reports or medical records yet?
Share what you have and don’t wait. You can attach documents right inside the form, and we’ll tell you what else we need after reviewing your submission.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Submissions are transmitted securely through our case-management system and reviewed only by our intake team. Submitting this form does not, by itself, create an attorney–client relationship.
How long do I have to file a personal injury claim in Texas?
In most Texas personal injury cases, you have two years from the date of the injury to file a lawsuit. Some claims have shorter deadlines. The sooner you contact us, the more options we can preserve.

What practice areas do you handle?
Trucking crashes, car wrecks, wrongful death, workplace injury, premises liability, ranch hand injuries, class action / mass tort, and other catastrophic personal injury matters.
