Michael C. Roberts
Partner – Expansion & Complex Litigation, supporting LOAR’s growth across Texas and beyond.
Michael C. Roberts brings broad litigation experience to LOAR, having represented clients ranging from individuals to large corporate entities. His focus is on supporting the firm’s continued growth, including its expanding work in catastrophic injury cases and other complex litigation.
From complex commercial disputes to plaintiff-side advocacy.
Before joining LOAR, Michael built a broad litigation practice at Jackson Walker, handling construction, insurance, contract, and commercial disputes. His experience includes representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, insurers, and policyholders.
That background gives him a practical understanding of how disputes are evaluated, defended, negotiated, and tried. At LOAR, he brings that experience to individuals and families facing the aftermath of serious injury or loss.
Michael’s practice is grounded in disciplined case analysis, direct client service, and the belief that the best advocacy combines legal skill with accountability to the people whose lives have been changed.
Partner-level litigation leadership across LOAR’s growing markets.
LOAR continues to experience significant success in Austin and Dallas, and its work has expanded quickly into other high-demand markets. As demand grows, the firm is investing in partner-level litigation leadership so every market receives the same strategy, responsiveness, and client-centered advocacy that have defined LOAR’s success.
Michael anchors that growth with an on-the-ground presence in Waco and Abilene, bringing trial-tested judgment to clients and referral partners across Central and West Texas.
Focused on serious injury, accountability, and trial-level preparation.
As LOAR expands its work in catastrophic injury, trucking, and complex premises cases, Michael’s role centers on serious-case strategy and partner-level litigation leadership — ensuring high-demand markets receive the same high-quality strategy, responsiveness, and client-centered advocacy that have defined the firm’s success.

His transactional experience also informs his litigation work, including negotiation of major construction and design agreements.
His trial experience includes first chairing a jury trial to a successful verdict in federal court, as well as multiple trials in state and federal courts and several arbitrations. One of his proudest accomplishments at his prior firm is representing a severely injured woman and her husband through trial against a major international company, which resulted in a mid-trial multi-million-dollar settlement.
