How is the fee split?
It is easiest to explain by example. The fee-sharing arrangement is included in the contract at the start of the case, and all parties sign.
When a lawyer refers LOAR a case and LOAR resolves it for $1,000,000.00, and the attorney’s fees are 40%, that lawyer as a Referral Partner receives one-third of the fee, totaling $133,333.33.
