Why LOAR exists.
LOAR PLLC was not built to become the biggest personal injury firm in Texas. It was built to be the kind of firm clients, referring attorneys, and communities actually deserve.
A firm built on conviction, not volume.
Amber Russell founded LOAR PLLC after nearly two decades in the law — first defending large institutions at Baker Botts, then representing the injured people and families on the other side of those cases. Having worked both sides of litigation, she saw clearly how serious cases are evaluated, defended, and too often mishandled. LOAR grew from a simple belief: a law firm can be excellent and compassionate, strategic and human, ambitious and grounded in service.
What “built differently” means in practice.
Serious, carefully selected cases
We take on matters where preparation, judgment, and experience meaningfully change the outcome — not high-volume intake for its own sake.
Trial-level preparation
Evidence preservation, expert coordination, and damages development begin on day one, whether a case settles or goes to trial.
Client-first advocacy
Clear communication, direct attorney access, and respect for people navigating some of the hardest seasons of their lives.
Woman-owned and community-rooted
Leadership that opens doors for others, expressed through SOAR scholarships and the firm’s Women in Law community.
Who we serve.
LOAR represents injured people and families in serious personal injury and wrongful death matters, and works closely with the referring attorneys and medical professionals who trust the firm with the people they care about. That trust — earned before the first conversation and strengthened after it — is the foundation everything else is built on.
