A Collaborative Approach to Advocacy
When I founded LOAR, I wanted to bring a unique perspective to personal injury law—one shaped by starting my career on the defense side and seeing the claims process from both angles. That experience taught me something invaluable: it’s possible to be a zealous advocate for your clients while treating everyone in the process with respect, professionalism, and fairness.
At LOAR, we’re committed to doing things differently. Here’s what that means for adjusters and defense counsel who work with us:
We Won’t Take Cases We Don’t Believe In: I’ve personally screened every case we pursue to ensure its legitimate and has merit. This isn’t just about building trust—it’s about focusing on claims that truly matter.
Mutual Respect and Professional Courtesy: No matter how contentious a case might be, we believe in maintaining civility and open communication. You’ll always be treated as a valued partner in the process.
Transparency and Information Sharing: We provide the information needed to evaluate claims upfront, allowing for more efficient decision-making and the opportunity to resolve cases early.
Opportunities for Resolution: Before pursuing litigation, we ensure there’s a genuine chance to collaborate and resolve matters without unnecessary escalation.
Holistic Understanding: Our approach balances advocacy for our clients with a respect for the reality’s adjusters and defense counsel face.
Always Accessible for Open Dialogue: Whether it’s pre-claim, during the evaluation process, or even at mediation, we make time to meet with adjusters to discuss any questions about the case. Our “open book” approach ensures transparency and promotes collaboration at every stage.
This philosophy isn’t just about making the process easier—it’s about achieving better outcomes for everyone involved. At the end of the day, our goal is to build trust and foster a reputation as advocates who are fair, reasonable, and effective.
To all the adjusters and defense counsel I’ve worked with (and those I haven’t yet): I look forward to continuing to build positive, productive relationships across the aisle. Let’s keep the dialogue open and focus on what really matters—resolving claims fairly and efficiently.
With gratitude,
Amber Russell

Our team has experience helping people who have been hurt as a result of a truck driver’s negligence. No one can erase what happened, but we can help you get justice. Make the call that matters.
-
Many who have lost a loved one face not only grief, but also the sudden imperative to provide for themselves and their family. While no amount of money will ease the pain of losing a loved one, we believe that holding negligent parties accountable, we help ensure that this same type of tragedy does not happen to another family. In instances of wrongful death, Texas Courts may grant spouses, children, and even parents compensation for financial and emotional losses.
-
The LOAR helps clients who have been hurt in car wrecks every day. They have made recoveries for clients who have lost loved ones as a result of drunk drivers, distracted drivers, and delinquent company drivers.
-
We are passionate about helping families recover after a tragedy. Our firm has represented clients in trucking crashes, premises liability cases, victims of sexual harassment, and children who have been injured.

Your injuries may be an example of many others’ experiences. By contacting a Texas personal injury attorney right away, you could be in the position to begin a class action lawsuit or to join an existing action. The only way to determine if you are one of many people similarly hurt is to speak with an experienced attorney.
-
If you or your loved one has suffered a severe work injury or has tragically lost their life while on the job, our workplace injury lawyers, wrongful death attorneys, and accomplished support staff provide trusted legal representation for our fellow Texans.
-
When you are hurt on someone else’s property, what should have been a fun vacation, an important work trip, or a simple run to the store can become a nightmare. We can help. Property owners who invite you on their property for their own benefit (like hotels, apartments, grocery stores, restaurants, and other businesses), owe a duty to protect you from any unreasonably dangerous conditions that they knew or should have known about. This can include the condition at the property like a concealed hole on the walking path, or even the risk of being a victim of a violent crime.

The Texas Supreme Court issued an opinion on a case involving the death of a ranch employee and determined the Farm Animal Liability Act does not apply to “ranchers and ranch hands.” We can help Ranch Hands injured at work.

Pedestrian and bicycle crashes require a special approach to understand the mechanisms of injury and neutralize specific attacks against non-motorized vehicles on the road. Don’t let the defendant blame you, call for help navigating your case, 512-777-3135.
-
Nursing Home Neglect Nursing homes and long-term care facilities are required to provide a certain standard of care, yet they often fall short. They fail to keep their residents as clean, healthy, and safe as they should. Neglect in nursing homes, or worse yet, abuse, can cause your loved one to get hurt or deteriorate.

If you’ve been injured while working on a maritime vessel, offshore oil or gas rig, ship, tug boat, or any other number of vessels, you could be covered under the Jones Act, which has protected maritime workers, seamen, sailors and others who work on U.S. territorial waters for nearly a century. Or you could be covered by maritime law, also known as admiralty law.

We are thankful for our first responders and frontline medical personnel, now more than ever. Not all medical providers, however, are created equal. When a hospital or nursing home prioritizes profits over safety, this results in understaffing, failure in training, and rushed decisions. Then bad things happen and innocent people get hurt. If you’ve been injured as a result of medical malpractice, call us and see how we can help.

The condemnation process in Texas is complex, and when the governmental authorities come to take your property, our firm will fight for you to ensure you are not run over in the process.

Helping those who cannot afford legal services is at the heart of our firm. LOAR, PLLC takes on cases, free of charge, in the areas of family law (including divorces, foster care, and adoption) and criminal justice for victims of physical and/or sexual abuse.
